This site provides a set of different tools which may help you to test your privacy settings or to resolve some network problems. Even though first versions of some tools were written years ago, they are still useful and I hope they may be of use for you too.
Please be advised that some of the scripts are in "beta", so you may want to check leader.ru server for old stable versions. Also bear in mind that some tools may be unavailable for you if your IP address is changing during the browsing of this site. Some specific tests, such as port scans, are not going to be available if your connection appears to be going through a proxy.
If you visit this site often, you probably noticed that the layout has been changed as of Jan. 18, 2010. This is partly caused by the network changes and some site re-configuration. However, this new look is also a result of an old plan to finally remove some outdated bits and pieces, update the site to modern standards and make it more "alive" and hopefully more interesting for you all. This is the work in progress and you will see more changes soon. If you feel that something about this new design makes usability suffer or there are any other issues with the site, please let me know and I will certainly look into that.
Jan. 22, 2010 update: This site is still being redesigned and while at it, I also decided to make it HTML 4.01 Strict compliant. Without getting into details about the differences between the "strict" and widely used "transitional" specifications, I would like to point out just one particular change which resulted from using the former one. The links on the site will not be set to open a new tab or window any more. The "target" attribute is deprecated and basically it is for you to decide how to open them.
